About DAR FARMS

A modern Egyptian agricultural company, built for export.

DAR FARMS is an Egyptian agricultural and food-export company working across production, processing and export.

Our story

From our farms to the world.

Egypt has grown food for the world for thousands of years. DAR FARMS was founded to carry that tradition forward with the discipline that modern export markets demand.

Our aim is to connect Egyptian agricultural production with international markets through one connected chain. We are not only producing crops: we are building an integrated value chain in which every stage is planned, controlled and traceable.

Our vision

To be a trusted Egyptian agricultural and food-export partner, connecting high-quality Egyptian produce with international markets.

We are building a scalable, sustainable value chain across frozen, freeze-dried and processed products.

Our mission

To deliver safe, high-quality produce that buyers can depend on.

  • Growing quality produce through responsible farming
  • Putting food safety first at every stage
  • Handling produce with modern post-harvest practices
  • Protecting quality through an efficient cold chain
  • Meeting international export standards
  • Providing consistent, reliable supply
  • Building long-term relationships with customers and partners
Core values

The principles behind every shipment.

Eight values guide how we farm, handle, pack and trade.

Quality

We set clear standards for every product and check against them at each stage.

Integrity

We say what we can deliver, and we deliver what we say.

Traceability

We aim to know where every lot came from and how it was handled.

Reliability

Consistent supply, clear communication and agreed timelines.

Sustainability

We manage water, soil and resources for the long term.

Innovation

We adopt modern practices in farming, handling and processing.

Customer commitment

We build our programmes around what our buyers need.

Continuous improvement

We review, learn and raise our standards season after season.

Our business

Four divisions, one value chain.

Each division supports the next, so quality is managed from planting to delivery.

Fruits, vegetables and seasonal crops, grown on our farms and with contract and partner growers where applicable.

B

Harvest & handling

Harvesting, sorting, grading, quality control, packing, cold storage and export preparation.

C

A planned frozen fruit and vegetable operation, including IQF products and other value-added lines.

D

Sustainability

Farming for the long term.

Our business depends on healthy land and water. These commitments guide our practices.

  • Responsible water use — we aim to use water efficiently in every field.
  • Efficient practices — inputs applied with care and planning.
  • Less post-harvest loss — faster, cooler handling to reduce waste.
  • Efficient cold chain — temperature control planned to save energy and product.
  • Responsible packaging — chosen to protect with less material.
  • Agricultural waste utilisation — finding uses for by-products where practical.
  • Soil and farm management — managing land for long-term productivity.
